I was looking on google, and was curious as to what the statistics were about Teen Pregnancy. When I came across the total rate of teen pregnancy in the United states, and Canada and was completly flabbergasted about how many teens now get pregnant. The total rate of pregnancies in the United States was 821,810(84 pregnancies per 1,000 people). The total rate of pregnancies in Canada for 2000 was 38,600 (38 pregnancies per 1,000 people). They say that Sweden and France, have even lower teen pregnancy rates than Canada.
In my opinion, which hopefully doesn't offend anyone who is pregnant. Is that I believe that pregnancy is a beautiful thing, giving birth to something so precious is amazing. Being able to teach your child. There is nothing more that gets me angry and worried and confused as to teens getting pregnant. They aren't ready, they don't have all the right things to take care of a baby. A baby isn't like going shopping for a new dress it's something with a heart, a living human. I feel like teens think, yes! Sex without a condom, I'm cool now. Just wait until you are laying in a hospital giving birth to a new born baby. It's not fun, it's not easy, it's hard.
I feel like teens don't take it as seriously as they should be. I mean were young, we sometimes do stupid things. I'm not okay with abortions, but I think sometimes there is a time and a reason for it. I don't like adoption. Why bring someone to the world and chuck them to someone else, I mean your child isn't going to like that when they get older.
All I'm trying to say is that, I am no all for teens having babies. Take responsibility, and make the right choices.. Condoms are always nessacary. Ladies don't be silly Wrap his Willy.. Seriously!
Please know who ever is reading this and might be pregnant I am not trying to offend it's just my opinion. Hope some of you take this into serious thought.
