LIST OF THINGS YOU NEED FOR HALLOWEEN.

Material.

Candy
Drinks
Chips or Popcorn
A friend or Boyfriend
A blanket
A pillow
Lights all off
A converter
Most of all....
Every Halloween movie ever Created.

By every Halloween movie ever created, I don't mean the latest ones, because those are all into our generation and seem pretty cut back and kinda lame. I mean the oldies, with Jamie Lee Curtis, Tony moran. Yeah they aren't as scary as the new ones. It's just old movies never get old.

Chinese Culture

I was bored in English class and needed to find a new blog topic to write about, and well I remebered that earlier today I was talking to my friend Marielle about anthropology. I was always so fascinated about different Cultural habits in different places around the world. I remember a long time ago my friend was telling me about how Chinese have very different Cultural habits, so I figured why not search it up. I then began to go on google, and found a page about Strange Chinese Cultural Habits.

One of the first strange habit was Foot binding. I couldin't remember exactlty what binding ment, so I googled a picture, and nearly threw up.

In the chinese culture,Foot binding is the Chinese traditional view the ideal image of a woman one with narrow, pointed feet. Foot binding was thought to be a sign of class, and a symbol of chastity. What they would do is force their toes under the sole of the foot and, over time, are forced into smaller and smaller sized shoes. It said that. Still, today there are over 1 million Chinese women living with feet deformed by the practice.

Interesting Eh?

Pet Peaves.

About an hour ago, I was thinking about how there are so many things that people do that really get on my nerves, here are a couple of my pet peaves.

1. I can't stand it, when people try to mouth what your saying, while you are talking.

2. When people sing a song, and don't know the words, but make up their own as they go along, and it doesint even go with the beat or make any sense.

3.When you make a really funny joke, and the person beside you hits you on the sholder and says "That was really funny", when they are not even laughing.

4.When people will see a person, make fun of them for what they are wearing, then 20 minutes later, will say how they are not judgemental.

5. How people say "I am so mad right now!" then you ask why? then they say, "Oh! don't worry about it" Well then why would you even bring it up if your not going to tell us whats going on?

6. When people talk to you over msn about why they are mad at you, then once you get in person, they get scared?

7. When someone older makes fun of someone younger.

8.When someone is all nice to you infront of your face, then once you walk away they talk behind your back.

9. When people say I'm growing up, it's you who needs to grow up! When really you truly know its them.

10. How people need to beat up someone who is looking, talking or texting their boyfriend or girlfriend.

11. How people do weed at school.

12. How people eat with their mouth open.

13.How people can't just move on over something that is childish and stupid.

14. When you ask a teacher a question, and they make you feel like your dumb.

15. When a person talks down to you

16. How people just stare at you, even after you catch them.

17. How someone doesint have any class in a restaurant, and eats like a pig.

18. hypocrites.

19. Soemone who can lie constantly, but sucks at lying.

I know it may seem like I hate alot of things, but these are just things that get on my nerves from time to time. Because, sometimes I do some of these things, and so do you. Doesin't make you a bad person, or make you a person that everyone is going to hate. and yes I kinda did contradict myself in the sense of saying, hypocrites get on my nerves then just saying that I do some of these things sometimes even if they get me angry. I only mean the kinds of hypocrites that do it all the time, about things that shouldint even matter.

Id love to hear yours, so tell me some of your pet peaves.

Selfish Suicide

I could sit here for hours and think about reasons as to why someone would commit suicide. I still can't find one reason. To me suicide is selfish, ending your life and putting your family, friends and maybe your boyfriend/girlfriend into terrible depression. I doesint even cross my mind, the pain that families go through when their child, cousin, brother, husband, or loved ones commits suicide. I remeber when I was about 15 years old and someone told me that they have a friend that commited suicide. I also remeber the face he gave me, as he was telling me the story. It took him 2 hours just to finish his story, and afterwards he looked at me and said "seriously Jenn, if you ever know someone who is about to commit suicide, make sure to let someone know. No matter what he or she will put you through after, they will never forget that you saved their life". The saddest part about that boys story, was the after part. When his story started to pass through the school, because some people though it was their business to share his personal life with the hole school. Some people started to laugh, call the boy a waste of flesh and air. Even made it loud and clear to the person who told us, that his friend deserved what ever made him decide to end his life. It sickens me how people can't just keep there opinions to themselves. Some people just don't care how much pain they afflect to someone, when they say something so utterly unessacery.

Jealousy my friends, suck!

It's kinda funny, but kind of sad, how much a girl can get jealous and freak out over something that is so small. Seriously so small that you have to put it under a microscope just to see it. Then again, it sucks so much being jealous, and worrying about something. I remeber I used to be so jealous that i would even go to great lenghts to skip out on seeing something,or someone. Sometimes i would just not litsen, usually it never works, but sometimes it helps. It Gives me a little big of sanity. I don't know about you, but when i'm jealous I get into one of those moods were if you wanna talk to me, lets talk about something so completly off of what is on my mind at this very exact moment. Then once I get home, I freak out and need to talk about it, but once i spit out every word, at the end I feel good, until the person on the other end of the phone, sits there and starts to laugh. Their response always starts with "Wow Jenn, you are such a girl." Or usually its "Are you kidding me? Jenn, it's such a little thing, that you have blown way out of poportion" Then I sit there and think. Wow! Did I seriously just freak out over that, then I smile hang up the phone and give my self a little treat, preferably Milk.

My advice.
Instead of freaking out over something that to you is so big, but to most so small, go find what ever it is you are jealous about and ask. Either you'll hear what you want to, or you might get something you wish you hadn't heard, but in the end its always going to help you.

Friendship.

Here are a couple of people I asked to give me there meaning of friend ship...

Stephanie: Friendship is when two people can have complete silence and be perfectly at ease.

Brittney: Friendship.. it goes a long way, and no matter what way it goes, you know that person is going to be there right by your side. When they say they love you and want the best for you, in their hearts they truly mean it. Someone who knows you completely, someone who can tell when you're sad even if you didn't say a word. Accept you for you, and sticking by that. Never leaving you no matter the circumstance. Fighting only brings you closer, since you remember all the good times and just forget why you even started fighting

Ariel: Frienship is something that is built on trust and love, that its much better to have a few good trustworthy friends than a bunch of aquantences... quality not quantity

Devin: Depending on the level of friendship....for true friendship, it's a complete acception of who they are and a fondness for another being that in turn is returned, bonded through trust. It's a symbiotic relationship between two beings on a social and psychological level.

Trina: Litsen, Love,Trust, and being there for each other.

Alysia: A relationship that is built between two or more people which involves fun, laughter, trust.

Jessica: Friendship is actually a tough thing to explain. Friendship to me is sharing stories, helping eachother out through tough times and were you dont have to worry about being judged, its trust and having a great time......You're suposed to feel comfortable with your friends and always have someone to turn to.

Tanya: Friendship is the cooperative and supportive relationship between two or more people. In this sense, the term connotes a relationship which involves mutual knowledge, esteem, affection, and respect along with a degree of rendering service to friends in times of need or crisis.which meana friendship is like family

Olivia: Two most important words: mutual trust

Jessica: Friendship is when someone knows the good and bad of you and is still your friend. a bond between people where its based on trust and honesty.

I would love to know your meaning of Friendship. Now for my meaning of friendship.

I don't think friendship is something you go looking for. I think friendship is when you meet someone, and you grow to trust them in time, and when you can be honest with that one special person. Friendship is something that builds through time, nothing you can rush, nothing you can take for granted. It is something so strong that once you have it, you do everything in your power to hold on to it. I read this quote from Aristotle, and I truly believe it, hear it out.

"Friendship is a single soul dwelling in two bodies" [Aristotle]

I hope any of this interests you.

Girls talk, face it!

It is so hard to be motivated and to be normal, when there are millions of rumors, drama, and other stuff that is flying around. I remeber elementary school, were we would talk about who has the cooler lunch box, or who has a brownie. Now, in highschool everything is about everyone else, and what everyone else is talking about. Personally, I find normal conversations about books, movies, boys, and a shows I watched last night, is way better then talking about girls and what they did with this person, or what she said about this person, or this person is a blah blah blah. It seems that the people who are living in the generation now can't come up with a constructive conversation about more important things, like the world, and what chaos is happening to our not so green planet. In my oppinion, yes, hanging out with boys are always fun. They're calm, don't like gossip and drama. They life to play sports, watch sports. Laugh about actually funny things, and not laugh about someone. Sometimes though, you just need a girlfriend, to talk about your relationships, but why even waste your breath trying to trust someone now. I think that now, everytime I tell someone something that involves something personal on my part. Its scary, and hard to look deep into that persons eyes and actually trust them 100%. In what messed up world are we living in?
